Day 181

Sun. 6/30/2013

We have a few kids moving slowly and sleeping on tummies after their day at the lake.  Oops.

Day 180

Sat. 6/29/2013

Our ward youth group had their annual "Day at the Lake," and Ed's boat was required.  Before the youth arrived Ed snuck in a ski run, then took a few minutes to help Kimberlee pick up the sport.  They'll keep trying...

Day 179

Fri. 6/28/2013

Krista showing off her "duck launcher" at Camp Invention.

Day 178

Thurs. 6/27/2013

This was supposed to be a picture about lazy summer days...but Kimberlee heard me coming and refused to cooperate.  So now it's a picture about how Kimberlee is a stinker and Kassie thinks her sister is hilarious.

Day 177

Wed. 6/26/2013

A day of water fun always equals an extra pile of this in my laundry room.

Day 176

Tues. 6/25/2013

4 1/2 years in the making...it is finished.

Day 175

Mon. 6/24/2013

Family Home Evening on the lake.

Day 174

Sun. 6/23/2013

The 2 middle girls will be attending a daycamp called Camp Invention throughout this next week.  One of the requirements was to bring a "Take-apart Item."  We had a broken scale and a broken CD player that were perfect, but Ed was required to "prep" them first.  Glad he was around because I would never have been able to figure out how to get the scale open.

Day 173

Sat. 6/22/2013

Hobo dinners in the fire pit.

Saturday, June 22, 2013

Day 172

Fri. 6/21/2013

First Day of Summer party.  Our friend Mandy sure knows how to throw a party.

Day 171

Thurs. 6/20/2013

Crafty girls with their sand-art dragonflies.

Day 170

Wed. 6/19/2013

Ed brought me back a new toy from his mom.  Poor man, now he's going to have to remind me to re-join the land of the living every once in a while.

Day 169

Tues. 6/18/2013

We never like to have Ed leave us, but we sure love the reunion that follows.

Day 168

Mon. 6/17/2013

Sick baby=cuddle bug.  It was a quick one - she was all better the next morning.

Day 167

Sun. 6/16/2013

Ed is out of town again and was lucky enough to spend Father's Day with his own dad.  The girls and I are super grateful for what a good dad Ed is.  Even though he looks terrifying with a knife.

Day 166

Sat. 6/15/2013

Kassie's knees.  This girl plays hard.

Day 165

Fri. 6/14/2013

The girls get very excited to accomplish their chore charts each morning.  I wonder when the novelty will wear off...or when they will realize they are actually doing work.

Day 164

Thurs. 6/13/2013

Sunbathing after playing in the sprinklers.  We've officially hit the too-hot-to-play-outside portion of an Arkansas summer.  The only thing for it is to swim.

Thursday, June 13, 2013

Day 163

Wed. 6/12/2013

Keira helped me make summer chore charts.

Wednesday, June 12, 2013

Day 162

Tues. 6/11/2013

Gathering items for a big Anderson family picture in July.  Whatcha think Irene and Nancy?  (By the way, Krista's skirt looks a little orange in this picture, but I promise it's yellow).

Day 161

Mon. 6/10/2013

Kimberlee's end-of-season soccer party (that's her awesome coach).  I think Kim is ready to branch out to a new activity/sport.  Any suggestions for her?

Monday, June 10, 2013

Day 160

Sun. 6/9/2013

Just because she's pretty.  Now if only she would hold still.

Day 159

Sat. 6/8/2013

Kimberlee "shootin' hoops" with her dad.

Day 158

Fri. 6/7/2013

All signed up for the base library's summer reading program.

Friday, June 7, 2013

Day 157

Thurs. 6/6/2013

We got to watch little Miss Hannah (and her two siblings) all day.  Look how itty bitty she is!  Kimberlee and Keira took such good care of her - they wouldn't even let me hold her until the last hour or so (she was at our house for 5).  They'll be awesome babysitters.

Day 156

Wed. 6/5/2013

Ed's Christmas: 1st day on the boat 2013

Wednesday, June 5, 2013

Day 155

Tues. 6/4/2013

Haircuts.  Kimberlee had just come in from jumping on the trampoline, so this picture doesn't do justice to the cuteness that is her new 'do.  She walked in there, said she wanted it cut to her chin, with layers, and side-swept bangs.  It makes her look all sorts of grown-up.

Day 154

Mon. 6/3/2013

Keira followed me around all day.  Every time I'd start cleaning something she would say, "I can do that."  I was more than happy to pass this off to her.  Love my helpful girl.

Day 153

Sun. 6/2/2013

Ed was out of town this weekend.  I may or may not have been about to strangle a few of these children after church.  A walk was just what we all needed.

Day 152

Sat. 6/1/2013

The last soccer games of the season were supposed to be played "rain or shine, we'll only stop for lightning" - however, after Keira played for 10 minutes in the pouring rain (and right after she scored the only goal) they decided there is a point where it's too much rain.  Kimberlee's game had been cancelled the night before for flooded fields, and Krista was supposed to play after Keira.  It's been a season of cancellations, and I don't think I got to watch an entire game for any of the girls.  But they all still loved it as usual.  Kimberlee mostly stuck with defense this year, and being as tiny as she is it was fun to watch her take on anyone who came her way.  Everything seemed to click for Keira the last game of last season, and she became one of the stars of the team this season.  Krista just loved to run and run and took all the goals she made in stride.  We sure love watching these girls play!

Day 151

Fri. 5/31/2013

Our little friend came over to borrow a princess dress for a birthday party and talked about how they were going to get their hair and nails done.  The rest of the day Kassie wore her Sleeping Beauty dress and shoes and told me she was ready to go to the party.  This was her look when I told her (over and over again) that we weren't going to a party.  Mom is mean.

Day 150

Thurs. 5/30/2013

We celebrated the last day of school and AWESOME grades at Colton's with a ride on the saddle and yummy steak.
