Did you know Oct. 15th is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness day?  Well it is.  Lots of walks, and candle lightings, and letting go of balloons going on in our little community.  I don't participate, but Kathryn was certainly on my mind all day.  This is her little pumpkin from last Halloween.  For some reason Halloween was harder for me than Christmas.  I wanted to dress my baby in our little duck costume, just as I had done for all my other babies.  We went to get pumpkins, and I couldn't leave Kathryn out, so we got this ceramic one for her.  This year it sits on my kitchen counter and I love it.

This picture is just a reminder to me that I am horrible at remembering to take pictures.  We had a jam-packed day full of wonderful things, and yet as I was going to bed I realized my camera had failed to make an appearance for any of it.  Fail!  278 days later, I still really struggle to capture our precious moments.  BUT, while I didn't get a picture of the girls eating these, the snacks are definitely one of their favorite traditions for General Conference.  So at least I'll remember that we did this.

This precious moment brought to you by Bethany.  My friend Amy crocheted this hat for our RS service auction.  It was the one item I wanted, but was outbid by Bethany.  Later I found it in my purse, and Bethany won't take it back.  I love it all the more for the people it reminds me of.
