So...I'm done. I actually did it. I took at least 1 picture every day. And people have been kind, and said they loved seeing what we were up to every day, and ask me if I'm going to do it again for 2014. The answer is an emphatic No. Here's what I've learned this year:
1. Not only am I bad at remembering to take pictures, I am bad at taking pictures. My pictures are not awesome. I meant to get better, take some time to learn my camera better, but in the end I realized I just didn't care that much. And far too often the "camera" that was on hand was my iPad. Which takes horrible pictures.
2. Most days we are really boring. I am a homebody and don't see that changing anytime soon. You can only take so many pictures of things in your house, or what food you're eating.
3. Kassie gets all the camera love. I'm pretty sure over half of the year's pictures include her.
4. I used to be able to fit 2 years' worth of pictures on my camera card. Now I've only got about 9 months.
5. It is really fun to go back through the year. I'm lucky because I remember a lot of the feelings associated with each picture as well, or other details surrounding them. It's been a good family journal. If I wasn't so relieved to be done I might even do it again, just for the end product. As it is, I probably won't take a single picture the entire month of January.
Thanks to all who followed along!

Day 364
Mon. 12/30/2013
The fat jokes are only going to get worse, but I don't mind them so much from Krista Mae.
Day 363
Sun. 12/29/2013
Church wore me out. So, yes, I laid in my bed reading a book and eating bon bons (chocolates, whatever) for a while.
Day 362
Sat. 12/28/2013
Today was important for the fact that Ed completed his ATP - airlines, here he comes! But I didn't get a picture of that. Instead, I got a picture of my gift from our last holiday party of the year. It was yummy. Ed ended up with decorative "Siamese" snowmen - ha. Can't win them all.

Day 361
Fri. 12/27/2013
Ed told Kimberlee we'd take her to see Catching Fire if she would finish the book. She powered through it and finished Christmas Eve, so I got to make good on Ed's promise, and we took Vanessa along. Kim liked the movie even more than the book - it was pretty good.
